Rafael Jiménez
General Manager, CIO and Co-founder
Rafael has more than a decade of experience in the financial sector. He has developed all his career specializing in quantitative finance and investments.
Prior to Idylian, he spent eight years at the Central Bank of Mexico, where he held several roles, ultimately serving as a Manager where he specialized in portfolio construction and investment management.
He holds a BA in economics from ITAM, and a Master of Finance from MIT.
He is also a professor at ITAM on topics related to portfolio management and asset pricing.
Rafael is enthusiastic about music; he loves playing the guitar and singing.
Antonio Silva
General Manager, CCO and Co-founder
Antonio has more than a decade of experience in the financial sector, all of them in Portfolio Management.
Prior to Idylian, he worked in London for two years as a Senior Analyst at Morningstar Investment Management and before he worked in the Central Bank of Mexico in the International Reserves Division as a Portfolio Manager for 6 years.
He holds a BA in Economics from Universidad Anahuac, and a MSc in Finance from London Business School.
Antonio is a member of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, an enthusiast padel player, golfer and foodie.
